Join us for our 7th Annual Adult Team Spelling Bee, taking place on Thursday morning, May 28th at the Kelowna Golf and Country Club.

Last year’s edition, the 6th Annual Adult Team Spelling Bee Fundraiser, was hosted at the Coast Capri Hotel on May 20th, 2025. Proudly sponsored by Pushor Mitchell LLP with supporting sponsorship by Source Office Furniture, it was a great success! With several teams tied for first place, the competition came down to the first ever word scramble, with the Agraphia-ites winning the word scramble, and the prestigious Spelling Bee Cup! And the Purshor Mitchell team, Casting Spells winning the Team Spirit Award!

All funds raised from this event will go towards supporting Project Literacy programs for children and adults within the Central Okanagan. Teams of eight adults will compete for the Spelling Bee Trophy. The reigning champion: Agraphia-ites will be back in 2026 to defend their title.

We’ve also introduced the Spirit Award for the most spirited and creative team — costumes, chants, anything you can think of that embodies team spirit!
